Abstract inked chawan tea bowl

Tea bowls, or chawan- when used in Japanese Chanoyu tea ceremony, are meant to hold whisked green tea called matcha. After whisking the green tea powder with hot water, drink matcha directly from the bowl.

Hand-built with glossy clear glaze and abstract ink splatters. Made of white stoneware and fired to 2232°F/1220°C. Dishwasher safe but hand washing is recommended.

Tea whisk and scoop not included.
